In July students from year 10 went on their Geography fieldtrip to the River Eau in Lincolnshire.
The students visited three different sites along the river to measure how the river changes. Students collected data on the width, depth and speed of flow. These measurements are allowing them to write up their controlled assessments which contributes 25% of their overall GCSE Geography grade.
Nearly all students made it into the river and after much splashing around the work was complete, leaving us a soggy ride back to school. Well done to the GCSE Geographers!
