A Midsummer Night's Dream at Caxton Theatre

23rd May 2016
On Tuesday April 26th, students from years 7-10 went to see a performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream at Caxton Theatre in Cleethorpes.
Mrs Shephard and Miss Robertson took 7 students to the performance to celebrate the Bard's birthday which was on 23rd April.
Although it was a late night, all students behaved fantastically well and greatly enjoyed the show.
The evening performance had students laughing along, with one student from year 7 nearly falling out of his seat when Bottom was pretending to roar like a lion! Students particularly enjoyed the arguments between Titania and Oberon, and were impressed with the talents of the local schoolboy who played Robin Goodfellow the Puck.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance and we hope to visit Caxton again soon.
